I always thought he meant the first one.. that a woman doesn't need to know her husband's business and should basically do what she's told without question.

Personally...I've always thought it to be an improvised line of Pacino's. When listening to that little bit of dialogue with Michael & Kay yelling over each other as we watch the children in the hallway - I get the sense that much of it is unscripted & FFC instructed them to just go at it.
Anyway the overall point of the line is:
"Yeah, yeah, yeah...you're unhappy, so what, happens in plenty of marriages, doesn't matter, I'm too busy to talk about it, you're staying, nothing changes, case closed, now can I PLEASE get back to my work."
