FFC almost did not want to do part 3 and they were goin to have quintin Tarantino direct it until FFC gave in and did it. Wow that would have been a mess..........or would it?...........

Part III wasn't the best, but a chef can only cook with the ingredients they have. Not having the budget for Duvall hurt more than anything. Whille the first two GF's were very successfull why didn't the exec's at Paramount not give FFC a bigger budget?

though i think tarantino is a great director, he would not be able to handle the godfather part 3. and obviously because he would turn it into a bit bloodthirsty movie. and the godfather trilogy was always about something other then violence. while there are plenty of violent scenes, the movie was always more about the family issues that mike and vito had to go through. i mean would we really want to see all of the corleone botton men dressed in black suits a la pulp fiction and reservoir dogs. would you really want mike talking to kay during their lunch in sicily about pop culture. mike- you know im fucking glad disco is fucking dying. those motherfuckers killing our airwaves with that motherfucking shit. kay- fucking a.
