Anatomy of a Murder (1959), directed by Otto Preminger and starring Jimmy Stewart, Lee Remick, Ben Gazzara, and George C. Scott, was nominated for several Academy Awards is my all-time top courtroom drama in a genre that is one of my favorites.
Also, the following come to mind. While not all of them are, strictly speaking, courtroom dramas, they all have at least some great courtroom scenes.
Inherit the Wind Witness for the Prosecution Presumed Innocent Paths of Glory Jagged Edge A Few Good Men The Caine Mutiny Court Martial To Kill a Mockingbird

I don't know of any better Christie versions than Witness. Actually, the film is better than the story, since it has an extra twist added to the surprise ending.
I'm aware of only one version of Inherit the Wind, which was adapted from a Broadway play, and I don't think Jack Lemmon was in any of the films that I mentioned.

I believe that there was a remake of it several years ago. But it doesn't even come anywhere close to the classic original. To Kill A Mockingbird Inherit The Wind 12 Angry Men IMO the top three among many great courtoom classic movies. Don Cardi

The others are great, but after you see Anatomy of a Murder, DC, your top 3 will become a top 4.
It's definitely on my all-time Top Ten list.

I have that Robert Altman TV movie production of the Broadway play, The Caine Mutiny Court Martial on my list which, strictly from a courtroom drama POV, is superior to the Bogat film, IMO.

A Ciivil Action.....I forgot that one, RB.
Some good courtroom scenes, a nice performance by Travolta, and good supporting roles for Dan Hedaya and your avatar.

All good ones. I remember as a young kid watching "Witness For The Prosecution" with Tyrone Power and Marlena Dietrich and was blown away. I loved that movie. Haven't seen that version in years. And yes, I loved Justice For All, and think it's underrated as well. Pacino's performance was wonderful. TIS

Primal Fear is decent one that hasn't been mentioned yet... Good twist.
Although, I think all of the highly exceptional ones have already been mentioned. Are we forgetting anything memorable?
"Somebody told me when the bomb hits, everybody in a two mile radius will be instantly sublimated, but if you lay face down on the ground for some time, avoiding the residual ripples of heat, you might survive, permanently fucked up and twisted like you're always underwater refracted. But if you do go gas, there's nothing you can do if the air that was once you is mingled and mashed with the kicked up molecules of the enemy's former body. Big-kid-tested, motherf--ker approved."
