Okay, it's been a long time since we have taken a test and have just been punching each other in debates. Let's have a little fun. I've planned to move near Pat or Beth!

Take the test.

My results:

Rowhouse 'Hood

You scored 22 out of 40 on urban-rural and 21 out of 40 land intensity.
People know you as: The Bohemian Gentrifier
Quote: "That crack house just needed a little paint."

Your score indicates that you are a city-dweller of the old-school. You like a dense, finely grained neighborhood with restaurants, churches and brothels all on the same block. Although you've never spoken to him personally, you know that guy Eddie down the street is a pimp and you're sure to tell your lame suburban friends about him at every opportunity, just to freak them out.

The bad news is that as more and more people like you move into your neighborhood it gradually becomes less cool and more expensive. Enjoy things while you can, because in 5 years you're going to have to move to the next 'hood uptown.

Examples of places you should live: Baltimore, Philadelphia

You are already in Maryland, aren't you? Are you in Baltimore as well? Well, I'm bad news, remember about more people moving to your town...

But of course, we can be roommates.

Does this test ever suggest other towns besides Philadelphia and Baltimore?

No it is just squares After seeing Jeoffs post in Help section, I tried entering various fancy unicode characters in my signature. With integral signs, greek alphabets and what not. But finally settled with this!

Afsaneh, this test is bogus. Just for experiment, I entered the exact opposite of all the answers I entered the last time. Still I get Baltimore and Philadelphia

Streetcar Suburb

People know you as: Grandmama
Quote: "Maybe the neighbor can lend us some sugar."

Your score indicates that you prefer a large metropolitan area to the wilderness and that you like your personal space. But you also enjoy interacting with other people occasionally and maybe, just maybe, on a rare occasion you even enjoy walking somewhere besides across the parking lot to your car.

You should live in a pre-World War II suburb. The kind populated by bungalow houses and charming little corner grocery stores. Just like grandma.

Examples of places you should live: Bethesda, MD; Evanston, IL

-----------

Sounds about right. I love an easy life with little complications. I'll go put my curlers in.

You scored 11 out of 40 on urban-rural and 13 out of 40 land intensity.
People know you as: The Milkmaid
Quote: "You get to not mind the cow smell."

Your score indicates that you prefer a rural atmosphere to an urban one and low land intensity. You’re no hermit though; you like other people and, once you start talking to them, other people like you. As far as you’re concerned there is no difference between living in a city and living in a suburb, not that you would want to do either because you’re probably a bit scared of cities in the first place.

Examples of places you should live: Amish country, PA; Kansas

I'm so shocked!

Congratulations. You are the coolest type of person. Or you like to think you are, anyway. Your score indicates you are a through and through urbanite who likes to live in the densest, most central part of town. Realistically, though, you're probably a "new money" type who, although you claim to hate chains, still occasionally sneaks a Big Mac and always, always gets your coffee from Starbucks.

The main difference between you and The Bohemian Gentrifier is that you have a better job.

Pretty accurate I think!

You scored 18 out of 40 on urban-rural and 22 out of 40 land intensity.
People know you as: The Dr. Kennicott Wannabe
Quote: "Things aren’t like they used to be."

You’re like the character Will Kennicott in the novel "Main Street". Your score indicates that you prefer a rural atmosphere to an urban one, but at moderately high land intensity. You think small towns where people know and care for one another are marvelous places to live. If you’ve ever lived in a small town before you’re probably older than the normal demographic here at okCupid. If you haven’t ever lived in a small town before, you should try it. You’ll like it better than the suburb you live in now, and the town’s economy could sure use you.

Examples of places you should live: Montpelier, VT; La Junta, CO
