It's supposedly an average biopic. I really wanna see it though, I'm a fan of The Doors and would love to see Kilmer as Morrison.

The Doors (1991, Stone) ***

The bio-pic of the life of Jim Morrison stars a dead-on Val Kilmer as the poet and frontman. Kilmer did a fantastic Morrion, and sang everything. This film was critised by some of those close to Morrison, saying it was a one-sided film. I believe Stone presented HIS Morrison, and succeeds. Morrison err... Kilmer... err Morrison absolutley nailed it. The DVD is excellent aswell.

Hey, how's it going?

My wife and I visited Pere LaChaise Cemetery s in Paris years ago. Large number of famous people, including Morrison, buried there. We found his grave. I sang "Universal Mind." Hope Jim was listening rolleyes

Haha you never know who is listening, but I like that you did that still. The man was a genius

But you had to play it cool, had to do it your way
Had to be a fool, had to throw it all away
