I can speak Spanish fairly well, but with a horrible accent. I do understand and read it well though. Same can be said of Itlian which I'm just studing in school this year. It's not much of a jump from Spanish.

I can speak French from about four and a half years of schooling, although, I wouldn't consider it "fluent" just yet. "C*nts." ~ Oscar Wilde on the French [fake Oscar Wilde quote provided by http://www.uncyclopedia.net ] :p
"Somebody told me when the bomb hits, everybody in a two mile radius will be instantly sublimated, but if you lay face down on the ground for some time, avoiding the residual ripples of heat, you might survive, permanently fucked up and twisted like you're always underwater refracted. But if you do go gas, there's nothing you can do if the air that was once you is mingled and mashed with the kicked up molecules of the enemy's former body. Big-kid-tested, motherf--ker approved."

Well, not to discourage you, but my English is better than your French. But anyway, I live in the Dutch part of Belgium, so my first language is Dutch. But since Belgium is a bilingual country, I also speak French fairly good. I think. Mais en général, je dois dire que Turnbull est un homme bien. Alors, je vais lui faire une proposition qu'il ne peut pas refuser.

Thug's post is being translated properly. Actually, it is getting "suis" mixed up. I used the first-person of "suivre" meaning to take a class or to follow, and it thinks I used the first-person of "etre" meaning to be. But other than that it did a very good job.

Originally posted by Turnbull: And is your French as spoken in France, or is it "Waloons"? I've never understood the difference. I'll explain it. Belgium consists of two language groups. One group speaks Dutch (in the north), the other French (in the south). But what's special is that the Dutch-speaking people of Belgium don't speak Dutch like in The Netherlands. Instead they speak a variant of it, called Flemish. You can compare the difference between Flemish Dutch and Netherlands Dutch with the difference between Britsh English and American English. Same language, but some words differ, and pronunciation differs. The same thing for the difference between Walloon French and regular French. And don't forget the 1% of German speaking people in Belgium. Sounds all nice, but it also makes things somewhat complicated. An example: we have 7! governments and parliaments in this country. There are also people who make it an ethnic problem, they say the Walloons and the Flemish are two different kinds of people. In Flanders, there are nationalist political party's who want to blow up Belgium, and create an independent Flanders. Fortunately, those political party's (that are btw mostly extreme-right and racist) only have 25% of all votes. In Wallonie, there are also nationalists, who want to create a independent Wallonie, but those people are a small minority (representing 5 % of all Walloons). I personally hate those nationalists, since I'm no Fleming, just a Belgian. Anyway Turnbull, hopes this clears it up a bit. Feel free to ask questions, but since this isn't the most interesting thing in the world, I doubt you will. :p
