Las Cruces-New Mexico Alberquerque(sp) New Mexico Iceman (if you are still around)- I'm curious - what do you like about these two cities? Albuquerque - I'll bet it is the mountains, am I right? Or is it something else?

1.) New York, New York (I live in the suburbs of New York, so I don't really know if that counts or not... And for the record, I loathe the 'burbs.) 2.) London, England 3.) Portland, Oregon 4.) San Francisco, California 5.) Sydney, Autralia 6.) Liverpool, England 7.) Las Vegas, Nevada 8.) Seattle, Washington
I couldn't think of any other places... I'm picky. I, by far, would never want to live in L.A., on the basis that I have no wishes of being beaten, thrashed, mugged, raped, or shanked. Maybe I will visit once I cope with the possibility of being stabbed in the gut, induced, and then having my kidney's cut out of my body and being sold on the black market for six kilo's of 100% pure Mexican black tar heroin.

But if you do go gas, there's nothing you can do if the air that was once you is mingled and mashed with the kicked up molecules of the enemy's former body. Big-kid-tested, motherf--ker approved."

Wow. Which movies are you getting your information from? That was hilarious. For the record, I don't think you could get 6 kilos for your kidneys. Especially pure? 3, maybe 4 at the most, I'd say.

Lol! long_lost_, I believe you were being sarcastic in your post about Los Angeles but if you weren't I don't think you have anything to worry about. I'll be honest here, I'm not like the most street smart person in the world or anything (I'm not a country bumpkin or anything like that either) but every time I've visited my relatives in L.A. I've had no troubles in terms of safety or anything like that. Granted we were never in South Central or Compton or Watts or any of those places (not that there's anything wrong with any of those place in and of themselves but I don't think I would want to stop for coffee or relax at a bar and have a couple of pops) but still, as long as you take some very minor precautions (the kind you would take in any big city in the world) you should be fine. As you must know L.A. is one of the most famous cities in the world and there are many places and people to do so it would be pretty foolish if you keep yourself from ever visiting due to some (imo. at least) irrational, media generated, mythical, fear of getting physically assaulted or worse in the city. If you're gonna get mugged you could get mugged in Brandon, Manitoba or Helena Montana or L.A. or Toronto or wherever. Go see L.A., you won't be disappointed, oh, unless you have to pay for a lot of meals and/or drinks, then yeah, you will be disappointed... As for the heroin...Wel I stick to distributing cocaine, marijuana and hash. They're much easier to distribute and when you take into account manufacturing/refining and many other factors, much more profitable..

Being in a suburb of New York, I have worked and visited NYC many years (times). To live there would be expensive, but saying I had lots of money, it would be exciting; culture (theatre, museums, art galleries, concerts) and the restaurants.
I loved my visit to Rome, but I'm not sure I'd like to live there. Tuscany area, yes.
London would be much like New York
So how about
Nashville, Tenn......the Grand Old Opry
Dublin, Ireland......Beer.

You get the best of both worlds, there's so much Islamic and Byzantine Christian culture and it's a modern Metropolis of over more 10 million people! It's the only city in the world to straddle two continents (Europe and Asia split by The Strait of Bosporos). Also I understand the beer is plentiful there (not a problem here in T.O. but can be in parts of the Islamic world) and they have legalized prostitution. Sounds like my kinda town!! Well, I've lived there for 2 years in my long life. Sure there are Bysantian sights to see, but as to culture, christian population is small, you must know where to look to find it. Really it's a totally Islamic city, and with all pleasure I'd return there for several days, but I wouldn't wish to live there longer anymore. But, you must consider that I have no interest in beer and prostitution.
