Gangster BB Big Wig Bashes President Bush Other Members Shocked By Turnbull's Foray Into Politics
By Neal Pulcawer
Gangster Bulletin Board members were shocked today by the first-ever foray into the political arena by long-time member no-first-name Turnbull.
Mr. Turnbull, long considered one of the most knowledgable forum members on subjects ranging from The Godfather Trilogy to organized crime to automobiles of the 1950's and 1960's, had always jealously guarded his political views, refusing to participate in the often acrimonious political debates which have become a staple of the Bulletin Board's "General Discussion" Forum.
In response to a thread started by member Don Smitty, in which Mr. Smitty sought agreement in his labeling of Bill Clinton “by far the worst president this country has ever had”, Mr. Turnbull, in a post that he emphasized would be "non-political", proceeded to discuss the successes and failures of recent U.S. Presidents Clinton and Carter.
In his post, Mr. Turnbull succeeded in remaining non-political until the very end, when he remarked that "My candidate for 'worst' (president) in modern times used to be Carter because he screwed up so much....Now my candidate for 'worst' is the current Bush because he can't get anything right."
Mr. Turnbull's early afternoon expression of a political point of view left members of the Gangster BB's right-wing temporarily speechless, as they presumably huddled and exchanged private messages in an attempt to prepare a response to Mr. Turnbull's comments.
While they were still eerily silent as late as 3:45 PM, it was expected that something would be posted by late afternoon or early evening, in which a spokesperson for the right would "respectfully disagree" with Mr. Turnbull's assertions about the current President Bush.
No members of the Gangster BB's left-wing were available for comment.
"We're all going out to celebrate the fact that Turnbull is on our side" said one member, who wished to remain annonymous.
"Difficult....not impossible"

TB on a political thread? Thanks for giving us a glimpse of your political views TB. Pulcawer, great editorial btw. It's true, "Turnbull IS a good man." As if we didn't already know. TIS
