I just made a spur of the moment decision without totally thinking things through. And that got me wondering has anyone here done that sort of thing?

My decision was I just ordered a ticket to see the Dallas Stars play the Minnesota Wild in Dallas on April 15th.

Over $100 for the ticket, but oh well I'm totally psyched as I love Hockey, and the Dallas Stars are my fave team. Plus this will be my first ever professional hockey game experience.

I wouldn't mind seeing that game either Iceman, but I have to wonder why you'd choose The Stars vs. The Wild. Looking at the Dallas schedule (of the remaining games in the schedule) I see you guys are playing Edmonton, Calgary, Vancouver, Los Angeles, Phoenix and The Redwings among other teams. Personally, although as I already said I would definitely not mind seeing the game against Minne. I would much rather see The Stars (if they were my team) play one of the above mentioned teams instead of The Wild. In any case, hope you have fun at the game. Don't get too loaded eh! :p

Well Don Jasani I can see where your coming from. But for one thing this particular game works out the best for me schedule wise. Plus I'd much rather see the Stars play a team that I like rather than a team that I hate, like Vancouver, or the Redwings.
So that way I'm in a no lose situation.

Fair enough. Plus it looks like The Stars are gonna make the playoffs (unless they suffer a total collapse which doesn't look very likely) so you'll most likely have an opportunity to see some postseason hockey. I only hope The Maple Leafs can turn things around and join The Stars in the second season.

Those are the best kind of decisions. Ones influenced by nothing but the mind's impulse.

Like when you passed up watching what many believe to be one of the greatest films of all time on the big screen to watch some mainstream garbage from George Clooney. :p
