Its about that poor little 10 year old girl from Oklahoma. I don't know if any of you have heard about it.. but I saw it earlier this afternoon on the news.

Apparently the fucker kidnapped his neighbor, who was 10. He killed her, tried to decapitate her, and did some very other nasty things to her.

Its honestly the most terrible thing I've heard in a long time, if not ever.

I just heard about this. It's absolutely horrible!! This guy is way beyond abnormal, he's totally insane. I feel so badly for the family. How do you ever accept or overcome something like this? It's hard to believe that this guy's family never had a clue as to his "mental" condition. Simply shocking!!

Don't apologize... it's a fair question. It's one thing to read this story and feel disgusted... its quite another to feel compelled to share it with others... I'd be quite interested to know the motivation for posting about this. It's hardly to start a discussion, since everyone will agree it's an awful thing...

Of course there can be some debate over the way to deal with it.

So... let's demonstrate moral condemnation for this man's sick perversions by indulging in sick perversions of our own . Let's use as punishment the very behaviour we seek to punish. Nice one!

Or: let's lock this guy up in the name of protecting the public... he's obviously mentally ill, or a sociopath, but protection not retribution should be the response of the courts.

Hold on a minute there Dr., I don't consider torturing this "man" and feeding his remains to pigs after he is brutally raped and killed that is, "indulging in sick perversions." Sick perversions would be killing and eating people. The punishment I propose is not the one we seek to punish. There are no redeemable characteristics to "Mr. Underwood." He is a bloody psychopath and I will not shed one tear or lose one minute of sleep over what happens to his crazy ass. If he's as "mentally ill" as you say then he won't realize that we are going to punish him in the way he will be punished. And how exactly is the punishment I propose more or less barbaric than the electric chair, gas chamber, hangman's noose, or a firing squad? This man deserves only what he is entitled to under American law. That he is entitled to not being tortured and having his remains fed to pigs is a tribute to America and its judicial system. It doesn't mean for a second that he doesn't deserve it and won't get far worse treatment in hell.

Like it or not, protection and retribution are the responsibilities of the courts of law in any free nation-state. Do you think the family of this girl is just gonna accept that this psychopath is gonna live out his years essentially being looked after by the State and being taken care of with your tax dollars? This "man" gave up his rights on being treated fairly as a person and with dignity (in my book) the second he committed his crimes. Let me clarify here, so you can be completely clear, I don't consider raping and brutally murdering Underwood and then having his remains fed to pigs "sick." I consider it just. You don't want to be raped, brutally murdered and have your remains fed to pigs? Well, then, don't kill people and eat them!

Whether or not Underwood would realize he is being punished or not and whether he would even understand the nature of retributive punishment is not a huge concern of mine. That he dies a slow painful, miserable death, after which his remains are fed to pigs would be just in my opinion. Obviously this wouldn't happen in any free democratic society in the World (we have the media to do that job ) I'm just saying I wouldn't give a good shit if that and worse happened to him.
