PL, if you bothered to read my post, you would know my reasons for thinking of Shula's as a viable alternative. Perhaps it is a good idea to start the evening down on the waterfront (if only to hear SOMEONE do their Marlon Brando), and then finish up closer to the hotel where we can stumble into the lounge for a nightcap.
Whatever everyone decides, I, being the fair-minded person above all of this silly squabbling, will go along, as I am know for my sweet and kind disposition, and my ability to just go with the flow.

Ok, here's my suggestion. We go down to Penn's Landing aroun 4:30/5:00, walk around, take photos by the Mosholu, have some drinks there, maybe even a few appetizers, then cab it back to a restaurant near the hotel for a 7:30 reservation, and then be within stumbling distance of the hotel and its lounge. This way, Apple and Don Cardi, who I believe will have their children with them, can get back to the hotel at a decent hour, and we can all be nearby for a nightcap. Thoughts, anyone??

I agree with Don Cardi re the children thing and no matter what...don't count me in on the 'nightcap' part. My daughter will probably already be asleep by the time we return to the hotel so we'll be heading straight to the room. But again, SB your thoughfullness is appreciated ! Apple
