Member # 40......Certainly an "original", and in more ways than one.  a/k/a "The Baltimore Crabcake", or, more simply, "Crabby". a/k/a "Basement Bethie" because of her, um, sometimes-less-than-sterling performances in fantasy sports. One of my most valued and trusted friends, not only here on the BB but in real life as well, I'm happy and proud to say. Lol! Letizia, remember I told you to move my Beatle and Nirvana CDs out of the way, and to just ignore the condom wrappers in the basement. Thanks for the well wishes everyone. It's appreciated. At my age though birthdays are just a time for one more grey hair, one more noticed wrinkle and ten extra pounds. My daughter did surprise me with a gorgeous Phantom of the opera musical figurine. It's Christine sitting at her vanity with her young assistant and it plays the song they were singing. I have the tune in my head, but I for the life of me can't remember the song. The memory is the first to go..hahaha. My daughter has the dvd so maybe I'll put it on to remember. See ya in August. (Providing all the whining and moaning hasn't ceased and I head off to New York instead). :p

Sorry Afsaneh, mi dispiace pero there's no cake left. None, whatsoever...I ate it all, got pretty loaded, and made an ass of myself. What else is new eh?! :p Happy B-Day, Bethie, sounds like your daughter gave you a very nice gift. I was really into The Phantom as a kid and still kinda sorta am. Didn't see the movie, but I did see the play (as a kid) at the old Pantages Theatre in Toronto. Good show!
