So let's get this clear... the US government nor any other functionary of the state actually banned or censored this production... it was a decision taken by "the head of the highly regarded New York Theatre Workshop".

I guess this is one instance where I can't throw "land of the free, eh?" ... unless there was some surreptitious state pressure applied....

Alas, there are no plays about the schoolchildren blown up on buses by Palestinian terrorists...

Double-J, I'm sure there are many plays about those tragedies and if you search for a couple you'll find many. Although, Corrie being an American citizen, a young woman, a peace activist and just as innocent as those children has every right to be represented in a play and the play should not be censored in any way either by a government or private organization.

She was taken out, with intent by Israeli terrorists err...armed forces personnel, and nothing was done about it. Why? :rolleyes:
