I guess I gotta agree with you. That scene is just annoying. I cant think of any bad scene in the first and second part though....

Worst scenes?
Part I - Damn. This is hard.
Part II - I personally didn't like the Hyman Roth assasination, the one at the airport. Too loose; the death of Roth's killer seemed too cartoonish.
Part III - The whole debacle of Vincent and Mary was definitely high on the ick factor. But I personally saw less conviction in Anthony's scenes of rejecting Michael. There was something so superfluous about his desire to become a performer; it almost seems as if he's only doing it just to ensure that he will not be part of the Corleone family of crime.

Whenever anyone one askes this question, one scene out of the filth that is Part 3(harsh I know)pops into my head. Mike, Tony and Mary are a'strollong in the stone garden. I dont remember the exact line, but Mike, once again, tells her she cant see Vinnie anymore. Mary,as flat as possible, without even a shread of emotion in her voice "No" the runs, no, frollics(sp) away. All they need is a few bluebirds, deer and fluffy grey bunnies.
If winners never lose, well, then a loser sure can sing the blues.

The plot is wery weak itself, and Pacino acting in a way "I'm not responsible for all this crap". Then nobody else is significant, Mary especially. Worse scene is after the theatre. Was Vinnie indeed such a fool in guns even? They all had to be surrounded by bodyguards. Anyone should arrange it all better. And ugly Tony, etc,etc... From GF1 it's Mike coming to Kay to propose. So unnatural - you FEEL he would never do that, it's invented, artifical scene.

I always thought the wedding reception scenes of Michael and Kay were the worst acting in the entire trilogy, at least on Pacino's part... Shoot me, go ahead. But it's true. Right up (or, uh, down) there with Sofia...!
I studied Italian for 2 semesters. Not once was a "C" pronounced as a "G", and never was a trailing "I" ignored! And I'm from Jersey! lol Whaddaya want me to do? Whack a guy? Off a guy? Whack off a guy? --Peter Griffin My DVDs | Facebook | Godfather Filming Locations

KAY Michael, that man over there is talking to himself. See that scary guy over there? LUCA'S VOICE ...on the wedding day of your daughter... MICHAEL (after glancing over at Luca) He's a very scary guy. KAY Well, who is he? What's his name? MICHAEL His name is Luca Brasi -- an' he helps my father out sometimes. [ worst delivered line in all of acting.] [Luca stands up, facing Mike and Kay, seemingly coming toward them] KAY Oh, Michael, wait a minute; he's coming over here... TOM (appearing in view) ... MICHAEL Oh, ah, that -- when my brother Sonny was a kid, he found Tom Hagen in the street. And he had no home -- and so my father took him in -- and he's been with us ever since. He's a good lawyer. Not a Sicilian, but -- I think he's gonna be consiglieri. [ I was mistaken, THIS is the worst delivery ever. ] KAY What's that? MICHAEL That's um, like a counselor -- an advisor -- very important to the family. (then) You like your lasagna?

In the frist two I can't think of a bad scene but in GFIII all of it. and Andy Gracia just by being in the movie killed it.

Originally posted by The Corleone: GFI Mike proposes Kay, was one of my best scenes in my life. "Who's being naive" oh, that eyes of Mike, that surprise ( mixture of willingness and reluctance ) of Kay, I can't forget. I never meant to say that they acted badly! They were both perfect. But the scene itself, as the part of screenplay, doesn't meet my eye-it-s artifical. As if they wished to indicate the fact of marriage without loss of time. He came, 30'', proposed, 1'20'', she consented, 45'',they left together... I mean, he was not that light-headed, to come to her after committing murder just like that, after 3 years, and not that stupid as to tell her instead of "hello" that he is at home for a year, but never thought of her existence before. Another thing came to my head, about GF3. When Mike killed 5 families' heads, his son was supposed to be 3 years old. GF3 takes place, as I remember, in 1980. Then, Tony is - 33 ?!?! And he still can't get the law degree and chose his profession? If he was Fredo's son I wouldn't be surprised...
