i know vito's not a real chacecter, but when we get to Gangster heaven what would you ask.

1)I would ask him if he has any regrets about forming the family,

2)What happend to Genco's Father

3) Did Genco ever get a date with the "little angel" from the theatre.

i think he did appriciate what tom did for the family,might have been blood but vito looked at him as one of his own,

after genco died,he seen toms potential,and made him family counciler. so i think yes he did appriciate his work.
