NEW YORK - Air America Radio, a liberal talk and news radio network that features the comedian Al Franken, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, a network official told The AP.

I woke up this morning with nothing to do and went to bed with only half of it done.

Truthfully though, I never thought that they would make it. I've listened to Randi Rhodes several times and all she ever does is bash, bash, bash. I don't ever recall her talking about an issue without resorting to political party or President bashing.

And to make matters worse, there were several occasions where someone called up to disagree with her, and once she relized that the person was heading towards a disgreement with her views, she'd cut them off and hang up on them.

Not a good way for a talk show host to promote thier radio station and get new listeners.

This is just more proof that any ideas that the libs come up with are ideas which are destined for
failure. :p

I guess this proves once and for all that Rush Limbaugh is infinitely superior to Al Franken. :p

Oh well. The libs still have NPR.

Much in the same way that the Devil Rays are superior to the Royals.

They have a cooler logo. What the hell is a Royal? I mean, c'mon. A Devil Ray is like the...Stingray, which we all know is extraordinarily lethal since it was the only thing on the planet to do in Steve Irwin... :p

Funny someone should post about Air America today.

During a commercial break on Sean Hannity's show I happened to switch around the dial and catch a few minutes of Randi Rhodes.

Clearly a talented talk-show host, but MAN...what a sick, vinidctive, hateful woman.

Oh, by the way, DC...unlike the conservative talk-show hosts, Randi and her ilk don't want callers/listeners who disagree. They only want their small band of lapdogs to hang on their every hateful word. And small it is...or else they wouldn't be filing Chapter 11.

I also caught a show hosted by RFK Jr. over the weekend. This guy does NOT have a voice for radio...always sounds like he's crying or something. But then, as we know too well...having that particular last name seems to excuse alot of shortcomings.

While it wouldn't bother me to see it go...filing bankruptcy doesn't necessarily mean they will go off the air, does it? Or does this merely buy them some time...
