Mine would be 1.) The Godfather 2.) The Fortunate Pilgrim 3.) Fools Die 4.) Omerta 5.) The Last Don
I've yet to read The Fourth K and the Sicilian and I just started the Dark Arena. The Family isn't going to be published in Australia at all which I'm not happy about. So if the guy who posted an answer to my Family in Australia question reads this thread, there's some bad news for you. I really really hope I got the wrong information though. Liz.

First rule of Fight Club, you do not talk about Fight Club. Second rule of Fight Club, you DO NOT talk about Fight Club. Third rule of Fight Club, when someone say "stop" or goes limp, the fight is over. Fourth rule of Fight Club, only two guys to a fight. Fifth rule of Fight Club, one fight at a time. Sixth rule of Fight Club, no shirt, no shoes. Seventh rule of Fight Club, fights go on as long as they have to. Eighth and final rule of Fight Club if this is your first night at Fight Club you have to fight.

I was thinking it over and I've changed my order. 1.) The Godfather 2.) Fools Die 3.) The Fortune Pilgrim 4.) The Last Don 5.) Omerta 6.) The Dark Arena
I finally found a copy of The Fourth K which I haven't read yet, but from what I've heard it's really good.

Obviously, the Godfather is the best. I also enjoyed Omerta, the Last Don, the Sicilian, and the Fourth K. 4th K was not a mob book, but I found it very enjoyable anyway. I didn't really like Fortunate Pilgram as much, but I guess you don't have to like all his books. I'm a huge Tom Clancy, Patricia Cornwell, and Jack Higgins fan and I don't always like ALL of their books either.

In Quality: 1. The Sicilian 2. The Fortunate Pilgrim 3. The Godfather My Favorites: 1. The Godfather 2. The Sicilian 3. The Fortunate Pilgrim Most Overrated: The Last Don (sorry, I just can't take gangsters named "Pippi," "Cross," &"Dante" very seriously) In the "I Wish He Hadn't Done That" category: The Fourth K

TheChosen1, check out the topic "Turi Giuliano v. Michael Corleone" when you get time.
You'll see me bleeding all over the screen about the ending of The Sicilian.
I was just trying to find anyone who felt the impact of the ending like I did.
Just when I get out, they pull me back in.

1)Dark Arena 2)godfather 3)Omerta
It was all familiar to him, the farewells to time and place and memory, and he felt no sorrow, no desolation, that finally there was no one, no human being to speed him on his way, only the wind which swept across the ruined continent he could never leave. Mario Puzo-The Dark Arena
