I read this about 3 or 4 years ago, and what struck me (later on) was how prophetic it was - an Arab hi-jacking plot on an American plane, and a terrorist attack in the centre of New York, and the US President a relative of a former President. Scary stuff. Very interesting though, especially about the powerful organisations who really rule America. Completely different to The Godfather but I'd definately recommend it.
...there's people who would pay a lot of money for that information. But then your daughter would lose a father..instead of gaining a husband.

Interesting that this one never got made into a movie, as it has a solid story and plot.
Even "The Fortunate Pilgrim" was made into a TV movie with Sophia Loren, and that's my least favorite of Puzo's works.
They never made a movie out of "Fools Die," which is weird considering it was Puzo's follow-up to The Godfather.
