Andy Garcia was my favorite! It wasn't really his genre. I prefered Coster in JFK (1992) and Thirteen Days (2000)

Costner is a fine actor, just not fine for The Untouchables. He was great in Thirteen Days.

Maybe Costner did not do his best, but you didnt think Connery,Garcia, and Deniro did a good job? And dont forget the guy with the glasses. [ October 01, 2001: Message edited by: MobbingForMoney ]

I disliked the way that the film depicted Robert Deniro as Al Capone whacking that guy with a baseball bat. Tony Accardo was the one who allegedly did that. I think they were taking liberties to put it politely.

I think they were taking liberties to put it politely. If you're talking about the scene at the banquet, it was Capone (in real life) who wielded the bat against Anselmi and Scalise, two of his gunmen whom he thought was plotting against him. Scalise & Anselmi, baseball bat victims of Al Capone

Scuzi for my previous inaccuracy. I am now standing corrected by the man SC. Grazie consigliere. Forgive me. But please, be merciful with your infamous pun-ishment.
