I liked it, but it's confusing. (I still don't get part of the ending...the real ending...) Great portrayal of all things/plot points. Over all, a 7.

One of my all time favorites, it has all the elements I love in a movie: the epic, historical feel of another place and time, span of time, interpersonal relationships ie: trust, betrayal, etc....and ROBERT DENIRO.
Everytime I see this movie I get something new out of it. Definitely a movie which requires multiple viewings. I have watched both the long version and the long, long version. This is a great movie.
I have a tendency to wear my heart on my sleeve - I have a history of taking off my shirt.....

I thought I would wait for the DVD release, but now I think I will just rent it on VHS. But my question is what is the difference(time and content)between the regular version and the long version?
