Anybody here watch Goodfellas on lifetime? The reason I'm posting this is because usually when they cut out the swear words they make it sound so dumb. Like Scarface the comedy version  Anyway, on Goodfellas they did a really good job having people who sounded like them talk when they sweared. This post might have no point, but I thought I'd let you know what I thought.

Didn't catch it, Don Mataya. But I have yet to see a T.V. version of a flick like Goodfellas which did an adequate dub job over the cuss words. To me, all of them are comedies! "What do you mean I'm freakin' funny?! Do I amuse you, you freak?! You mean I'm funny like a freakin' clown?" Then there's my all time favorite: " Freak you!"

I did not see it, but a few years ago I saw it for the first time (the TV version, I was too young to see the videotape version), the TV station I saw it on cut out many things from the movie. Back then the movie scared me because I had just learned what the "Mafia" was. Today, I rented it out, and I like it now. Wait a second, I thought Lifetime was "television for women," most of the women I know hate "Mafia" movies. Like some of my friends think I'm crazy because they hate how everything is so violent. Plus they think that some of the things they say are crude. Although they are right.  I think the reason I like "Mafia" movies is that I have only brothers and they kind of toughen me up.  The only females I know of who like "Mafia" movies are the females on some of the "Mafia" forums I've gone to.

It's not JUSTa mafia movie
It's the sotry of a man who led a life of crime, betrayed his father figure, his freidnwas murdered, he was usffering from drug addiction, and also had an unstable marriage.

I thoguht the ediitng in Goodfellas was the BEST i've EVER seen!
GF3 was GOOD excpet that Vince says Screw Mike Corleone and Mike says Damn Mike Corleone.
Casino ws TERRIBLE. FREAK YOU, the voices would get high pitched, and the mouts would say FUck and the voice would sayfreak!
Goodfellas editing is GREAT!
