I've seen the GF trilogy, or parts of it, at least 2000 times. Next is Goodfellas, about 300 times in whole or parts. After that, Mean Streets, ~250 times. I also like older gangster films: have seen Little Caeser, Public Enemy, The Roaring Twenties, Al Capone, probably 75 times each. Honor Thy Father, a very good made-for-TVer about Bill Bonanno: 20 times.

Yo Turnbull, have you seen Each Dawn I die? If not and you ever get a chance, check it out. Cagney,George Raft, and even Max (Slapsie Maxie) Rosenbloom the boxer. The plot is great, not predictable, and it really depicts a more accurate picture of prison life than any movie of that genre and that time in history.Maybe AMC or TMC might show it. B&W of course.

TOP OF THE WORLD MA...BOOOOOM (Last line in White Heat) I did like the part when Cagney is so tough that when he runs out of bullets he angrily throws the guns at the cops!!!
