Can Pulp Fiction be considered a mob movie in any way?

That's a hard one. Pulp Fiction (my #2 favorite movie) has a lot of mob stuff in it, but it isn't a "mob movie". More an...action movie maybe? I'm not sure what catagory to put it under. "Crime" I think would be good. Pulp Fiction is a crime movie. (And a damn good one too ).

Pulp Fiction is kind of hard to catagorize, isn't it? I'd say Marcellus Wallace was a "Boss" in someways, but I'd describe it as more of a Modern Day Gangster Film. For a change Bruce Willis was good in something and didn't Harvey Keitel SHINE and steal the movie without even trying!

Pulp fiction was fantastic and Samuel L Jackson was brilliant. It was mobbish I reckon, it is a bit hard to categorize eh

Welcome, Scarlett! Yeah, I think Mr. Jackson is an exceptional actor...another great fellow Tennessean (he's from Chattanooga)! Don't agree with his politics, but then again, there are few actors with whom I do agree politically.

Isn't that the truth? Is he a Liberal or a Conservative, I'm just curious. Not many conservatives I can think of in Hollywood besides Selleck, Heston and Schwarzenegger.

PS I refuse to mention politics or religion I am talking entirely about his acting capabilities here.

I didn't know he was political in any way and was just curious as in regards to exactly what.
