I think the TV version of GoodFellas was... EH... The real version is better. They take out a much of stuff, which blows. And, half of Joe Pesci's voice through out the whole movie is fake because they re-dubb his voice because half of the words that come out of his mouth are swears. I'll stick to the real version... =)
P.S. That's 57 times I've seen GoodFellas now... I'm catching on Turnbull!!!
"Never rat on your friends and always keep your mouth shut." - Jimmy "The Gent" Conway (Robert De Niro), GoodFellas, 1990.

Originally posted by Don Anton: TV versions are crap. Impossible and infuriating to watch. I was watching Pulp Fiction oce and like half the movie was cut out. I turned it off after awhile it was so annoying. Yea Pulp Fiction is changed alot, just look: Dubbed dialogue in Pumpkin and Honey Bunny's opening conversation Omission of the entire scene after Vincent and Jules get off the elevator talking about foot massages Omission of a part of the drug transaction scene starting with Vincent's discussion of how his car was keyed Omission of the "shooting-up" sequence The audio of Uma Thurman snorting cocaine as "Son of a Preacher Man" plays is absent Inclusion of the "Mia Wallace" interview scene Omission of the scene where Vincent finds Mia in her overdosed condition Omission of the "oral pleasure" scene When Butch opens the door to reveal the sodomy of Marsellus, an image of Maynard has been superimposed to prevent from seeing Zed's actual thrusting Omission of the entire scene where Jules and Vincent argue after blowing Marvin's head off (both in the car and in Jimmy's bathroom) Omission of the entire scene of Jules and Vincent cleaning up the back of the car Among the list of words cut out: all variations of "fuck", "shit", "God damn", and "******". The use of the word "bitch" is permitted in some cases ("Does he look like a bitch?") but not in others ("Tell that bitch ['babe' in the TV version] to be cool!")

I know it isn't related to Goodfellas... but it is off of a TV version and I thought it was hilarious at the time... so I decided to share... here goes...
I decided to watch the TV version of Scarface knowing that it would be a train wreck and the dubs were just so freaking hilarious...
I can't remember any except for one off of the bat, but they were all really cheesy and fake...
Real Version:
Customs Agent: How'd you get that scar? Eating pussy?
Tony: Mang, how'm I gonna get a scar like this eating pussy?
TV Version:
Customs Agent: How'd you get that scar? Eatin' Pineapple?
Tony: Mang, how'm I gonna get a scar like this eatin' pineapple?
