i recently saw the movie Heat which includes them both and I was wondering who was older and by how man years if anbody knows. Im guessing Pacino is older because he just looks it I guess. Also, I know only of the one other movie both actors starred in together which was The Godfather 2, ar theyre any other films that have them both in it? and lastly whos your favorite?

Pacino is older by 3 years. Heat and The Godfather movies are the only joint ventures I know. To me De Niro I like better, he can play a lot different parts.

Al Pacino was born in 25 April 1940, and Robert DeNiro was in 17 August 1943, so yes, 3 years the seniour. And Heat is a brilliant movie, truly brilliant. I loved the coffee shope scene! It may not mean much but here is the IMDb page on DeNiro and here is the IMDb page on Pacino. Both are my 1st and 2nd fav actors (DeNiro I like a LITTLE more). Godfather 2 of course had both, but as everybody knows, they were never in the same scene Don Anton

I would say Pacino is better, he's made half the amount of films as De Niro but recieved more Oscar nominations than him, thats saying sum thing! Don't get me wrong De Niro is a fuckin legend aswell, but Pacino is the best. In the 70's Pacino was untouchable and he was robbed out of the Best Actor Oscar for GF2-saying that De Niro should of won it for Taxi Driver aswell. It's a close one, but Pacino nicks it!!
Heat is fantastic!!

No, HEAT is their only "common screen" film so far. Yet in GF (part II if I remember well) there is a special FX to put them both on screen. It is one of the scenes that fades from Michael present day to Vito young adult in New York. You can see the picture HERE

i would have to say i liek Pacino better but i can't really chose between them both of them have contributed so much to American Movies(atleast in my book anyways) i'd have to go with Pacino . Even though i loved DeNiro in Once Upon A Time In America, GF2 of course , Goodfellas, Heat, A Bronx Tale and so many others. " A friend of mind once told me never get too attached to something you wouldn't be able to leave in 30 secs flat"You got me wrong mate. Sorry, I was just saying I really I don't care much for the Oscars. Personally I hate them. And I'mjust saying that just because an actor gets more Oscar nominations doesn't count a lot for how good they are. Maybe wins (DeNiro: 2, Pacino :1) Of course by now both should have 10+. Amd Yes I know that because I like DeNiro doesn't account for jackshit, yes. Sorry, I was harsh. If I were to say Pacino's best...10, I would say: The Godfather The Godfather Part II The Godfather Part III Dog Day Afternoon Scarface Heat Scent Of A Woman Insomnia (GREAT movie) Carlito's Way The Scarecrow (anyone else here seen it? good movie) DeNiro's Top 10 (a little harder): The Godfather Part II Taxi Driver The Deer Hunter Raging Bull Casino Heat Angel Heart (anybody else seen it?) Once Upon A Time In America OR Wag The Dog (can't decide) Mean Streets (haven't seen it but I know to put it here GoodFellas (yes, he didn't have a very big role, but still) Anton
