I think the Samuel L. Jackson and John Travolta character's in Pulp Fiction are kind of similar to the Al Pacino and John Cazale(RIP) character's from Dog Day Afternoon. Both are criminals,Pulp Fiction choose's to kill other's while Dog Day Afternoon just say's that they will throw bodies out the door. Trovolta and Cazale are the gunmen. Pacino and Jackson are leader-types. Both John's have the same hair style. Do you think Tarantino got the idea of his movie from DDA?
It's not personal, it's strictly business-Al Pacino/Godfather 1

You know, I saw a movie on cable called "Pups", which was almost just like Dog Day Afternoon, except for one thing: the bank robbers were 13-year-olds! There were some very reminiscent scenes: the constant helicopter flying overhead; the cheering fans, egging on the bank robbers; there was even a scene where the female character goes outside and throws money out to the crowd! I wonder, have any of you people seen this movie? I suggest to watch it if you can find it sometime, it's very funny!
