I try desperately hard to be a writer. Im getting along on a story but I keep changing my mind on where it takes place. Your thoughts will decide. Which is more interesting. THe modern mob in the Kansas City area or central florida. I've lived in both so those two places would be easiest.

What mob in Kansas City? The few Italians running around?
I'd like to hear about what the KC mob does. Are they still into politics?

Well in KC a lot of the residential establishments a long the highway and neighborhoods in the surrounding suburbs are alleged mob territory. Which is why there is so few robberies. There are also speculations about some of the construction companies. Not to mention in Casino that is where they all met up. It was as close to the west as they could get according to the movie and the book. In the thirties and forties there were also a lot of nightclubs and what not. Cab Clloway used to sing at one of them, but Icant remember the owners name.
