Mama Corleone is undoubtedly the best Mob Wife ever, she just behaved like a woman had to behave, and Vito never got angry at her, or beated her, unlike Connie.

I too had to go with Mama Corleone, simply because she stayed married to Vito thru thick/thin. I didn't know a couple of the names you mentioned, but with Appollonia dying and Kay divoricing Michael; Sandra lost Sonny, and we don't really know what their marriage was like, I think Mama deserves the title don't you??

Which names on the poll didn't you recognize? "Fabienne" was Butch the fighters girlfriend in "Pulp Fiction" and "Karen Lutnick" was the girlfriend of "Frank the Cucumber" and "Tony the Tiger" in "Married to the Mob."
I voted for "Lucy Mancini" as the best girlfriend because she was so devoted to "Sonny" and "Connie Russo" as best mob wife cause she was just so over the top!

I voted for Apollonia because she was the best looking. But I think Sharon Stone's "Casino" character should have been a nominee. She was a trophy wife for Sam Rothstein, although a complete wack-o.

I voted for Apollonia; she was devoted to Mike ;-) and Karen Hill, who ended up being just as guilty as her husband. Ginger was evil too.

Mama Corleone might have been the best wife to have as a gangster, but I doubt she approved her family's organizations.

I voted for Ginger in Casino. She was a bitch, but she played a hell of a character. As for best girlfriend, I would have to say Lucy Mancini in the Godfather. She had a good story line in the book.
