I'm looking to buy this movie and was wondering whats in the boxed set. They don't really tell you on amazon, and i think i might get this apposed to the regular special eddition.

"Somebody told me when the bomb hits, everybody in a two mile radius will be instantly sublimated, but if you lay face down on the ground for some time, avoiding the residual ripples of heat, you might survive, permanently fucked up and twisted like you're always underwater refracted. But if you do go gas, there's nothing you can do if the air that was once you is mingled and mashed with the kicked up molecules of the enemy's former body. Big-kid-tested, motherf--ker approved."

Regular release, is there one? The only version you can get here is the 3.50 hour uncut release with the trailer, audio commentary and an documentary about Sergio Leone. It costs about 20 bucks here, if you go to the right place. Ofcourse it's R1, but I doubt the R2 will differ that much.

no thats what i ment. but i consider that the regular release now, because i dont think they sell the old 2 hour version anymore which is what i have. I want the 4 hour one.

I wouldn't bother with the 2 Hour Version. It is horrible. They chop the movie up to peices in that version. The full length version is great, and in itself must be watched very carefully. The short version just confuses the hell out of the veiwer!

Don Cardi cool

Five - ten years from now, they're gonna wish there was American Cosa Nostra. Five - ten years from now, they're gonna miss John Gotti.

I completely agree with you, Don Cardi. I originally got the 2 hour version as a gift a while back and never really got into it. Then I heard about the Directors Cut, 4 hour version and figured its worth a shot. So i rented it like a week back and loved it. And now I'm out to buy it but want to know if the boxed set is a waste of cash or not, and im curious about what it contains.
