To Everyone Else: Did yiou really think it was amzinly amazing. Its a good film but on the box it says:the greatest gangster film since the GF. But it dont deseverve tht much credit. errrr

Maybe it is considered too sappy. I don't know. All I can tell is that it touched me. And this makes the difference to me. I don't want realism. I want magic! Yes, yes, magic. Perdition is a good movie to go see at the cinema but GF completely draws you in to the Corleone world. They're not in the same league . goombah Joined: Feb 2003 Posts: 6,762 Anytown, USA	Perdition is decent but not in the same league as Godfather, Goodfellas, Casino, Heat, Donnie Brasco, etc. I like the story enough, but I don't buy Tom Hanks as a tough guy. He's been in too many sappy, feel-good, protaganist roles.
