thanks Vinnie, and thanks for pointing that out. I'm not an expert on the mafia in the real world, i've of course watched the godfather films, goodfellas, etc. and I've read a few books but I'm a long way off from knowing what I'm talking about smile .

just a question, so murder inc. didn't take money for their hits? it's pretty obvious that i based the 'Bones Factory' on this organization.

(and i rather think it's a bit of a silly name, but I couldn't come up with anything better... smile )

Ant....Murder Inc. were Jewish not Sicilian and thereby not bound by the oath (of which there were several, not least of which was Omerta, the Vow of Secrecy and loyalty.

Murder Inc. did get paid for there deeds but they were also involved in a lot of the business dealings of the Mafia. For while, they were almost exclusively at the beck and call of the mob and were the primary muscle for them in the 20's and part of the 30's.

Keep up the good work. Also, if I may.... do a little research on the history of organized crime from Sicily to the good ol' USA. I think you'll find it most helpful.
Good luck and have fun. I enjoy reading a good mob story....

Anastasia was Italian, though, wasn't he? was he just an exception?
