He might be a person with a big imagination and likes being a story teller. I use to do the same thing as this guy but on other forums related to different subjects. My motivation wasn't attention seeking, I just liked telling stories and I have a big imagination. Once I pretended I was a former shot caller that did time in San Quentin prison and everyone bought my story until I started getting the prison lingo wrong because I've never done time and I'm not from the US so ex-cons caught me out on my incorrect lingo.

DiMatti is way smarter than Gianni Russo. Russo rubbed shoulders with mobsters, DiMatti never did.
