Kinda wild the Outfit is considered almost defunct. They were the #2 Family outside of NY and had over 200 members with only 1 made guy to ever rat. IMO I bet Accardo told them to go way underground in the early to mid 80s and told them to infiltrate and switch to legit businesses besides gambling for their future.Id bet my left nut they're still 100+ made guys strong today.
About a zero % chance the outfit has more than 50 made guys in 2021...likely closer to 30...do I think the outfit is completely defunct? No, but there’s just not the recruitment pool of Italian neighborhoods to make 100 guys...I’d say the outfit still has a lot of non Italian associates in higher positions and probably about 20-40 made guys total, surly some that aren’t really known.
