I guess the question is in the title. Was just wondering in the last decade to present day how much the bosses of each of the 5 make roughly. I remember hearing john gotti may have brought in around
5 million a year, but I also remember hearing one of the acting bosses in the last decade (possibly colombo family), made like a million dollars over a 4 year period. So any ideas what guys like crea, Madonna, Cali may have been pulling in annually.

Depend from boss to boss: some bosses prefer to had a 10% or 15% of every capo earning plus had own bussiness plus the Xmas envelopes.I read that Gotti made 100 milions during his reign as boss.

There's absolutely no way to tell, I doubt an acting boss only made a million in a 4-year period though, Massino turned over 4x's that in cash. In an expensive city like NYC, no way an executive of any business will settle for that shit. As to your question, we will NEVER know, regardless of how much the "experts" claim to know. I love it when these blowhard know-it-alls think they can tell you that wiseguy's loaded, that wiseguy's broke, like they're their fucking accountants. You have to remember, their earnings are illegitimate, many feign poverty even when they have tons of cash, many are actually broke, but again it's really impossible to tell.

How much do would people guess guys like Mancuso or DeSantis pull in a year? Over 200k? I really have no gauge and would love to hear some thoughts.

All kidding aside, I think people don't really understand how wealthy those top Genovese guys are. These are guys who own apartment buildings. If you think Barney's legitimate net worth is between $1-5 million then you have zero idea who that man is.

Exactly legitimate income combined with his illegitimate income and only worth $1-5 million? Gimme a break. Back in 1996 Anthony Pisapia was found with nearly $1 million in cash and he was just a soldier.

Bellomo like a lot of top Genovese members are not as greedy, but there are a couple. They let a lot of money stay in the hands of their soldiers, but they do collect what is owed to them. This one of the main reasons why there is hardly any in fighting within the family, well not any shootings anyways, unless one of their members did something stupid like get one of their legitimate guys jammed up when it could have been avoided altogether. That family has not had a civil war, but some of the top members do talk crap about other top members when sitdown does not go well.

Mike DeSantis is said to have told a couple of underlyings to not give him that much money and to give it to a guy on Staten Island. It was a big score and DeSantis is said to make sure Amuso is happy.
Mancuso is on the streets and is making millions.
Russo makes a lot more than that, but I don't think he has anything over a million, he is pretty much sending money to the Persicos.
How much bosses make is anyone's guess, only those in the know know for sure.

I wouldn't even look at like that, when you say "just a soldier" you imply everyone above that level should be more well off, but we see consistently that isn't always the case. Sometimes soldiers and associates are the real earners, and get kept at the lower rank so they can't build influence, they have to keep kicking up to the capo, etc.

Okay, but regardless, I'd say in Barney's particular case he's more wealthy than most of his troops, though I can't prove it, and neither can you.
