Guys,

I apologize in advance if this has been discussed before in great detail. I'm reading The Brotherhoods by Oldham and read on page 48. " Together, Amuso and Casso possessed a toxic combination of incompetence, violence, and paranoia."
If this above statement is true how come "Tony Ducks" Corrallo elected Vic Amuso to boss of the family? Amuso is painted as a violent paranoid hitman and then slandered by Oldham. I read that Amuso was being groomed for boss one day. What is your guys opinions about what Oldham wrote about Amuso or just in general about his overall leadership of the Lucchese family?
