Partinico hub of drug trafficking, especially cocaine between the provinces of Palermo and Trapani. Twenty-six arrests (but a total of 30 precautionary measures)were made this night by the police of the capital during an operation as large as the territory it involves. The investigations, conducted by the policemen of the police station of Partinico, have highlighted how flourishing the illegal activity of the gang was and how long its tentacles were, which also touched other municipalities in western Sicily.

The cocaine market, from procurement to sale, in fact extended far beyond the borders of Partinico, also involving Balestrate, Trappeto, Camporeale, San Cipirello and large towns in the Trapani area such as Alcamo, Mazara del Vallo, Castellammare del Golfo, Santa Ninfa, Gibellina.
