Mario Balistreri father was Salvatore "Salvo" Balistreri, an early member of San Francisco, Santa Clara, and Palermo. Mario was brother in law to Joseph Olivo.
It appears that the Balistreris of S.F. are blood related to Big Frank of Milwaukee. I see some of the family wound up in both places. Are you aware of business ties between any of them? I'm also researching the Aliotos, btw.
