Congratulations Geoff! You were great. See, that wasn't so bad. A celebration would seem appropriate. Too bad we are all in different parts of the country. It was great hearing everyone, SC, DC, Beth, Part....you're all the best. TIS BTW, did Geoff say there was a way to have this show on-line so we can listen to it?

I just had to read the last 2+ pages here before I posted, to make sure it went okay! That was fun, and I'm so glad many of you guys called in -- you were all terrif' on the phone lines! I'm not certain if Bob from NJ is a member here - is he? That'd make it 6! Tho I'm certain Popcorn Sherry is NOT a member here! So you caught the part where I asked Bethie if she felt "crabby" about GF3? As for Tif -- I mean TIS -- he kept telling me beforehand which caller was next, so after I suspected "Tif from Cally" was TIS, I told him to make sure. And when I heard it was "Joe from Staten Island" I asked him to see if it was "Don Cardi" I tell ya, y'all talked and talked better than I did it was great! I only managed to stumble on a few words now and then, but I think it turned out pretty well. Joel is going to send me a copy on CD for me to post online, along with a couple pictures we took together. I can't wait to hear how it really sounded. I tell you, I was worried about trying to fill up 2 hrs, and there were so many things I wanted to mention but just couldn't! It could've gone on for 2 more hours! Next week Joel's having Peter Biskind (The Godfather Companion) to talk about some other book he's written. I wonder if they'll mention The Companion...? Anyway - thanks again for calling in, and for the support, and for not heckling me! Did anyone outside the U.S. get to hear it?

That was fun Geoff. But there wasn't enough time, there just wasn't enough time. :p You know when Joel started describing the scene of Sandra measuring Sonny's...ummmmm..... I was this close to yelling out, PENIS!! It would have been Joel's fault, not mine.

Welcome home Geoff!! Glad everything went well. I know I speak for everyone who was able to listen, when I say the excitement on the board here was at the highest level. Heck you can tell by reading this thread how "up" everyone was. Very exciting & fun. So, Joel do the GF impersonsations? He's pretty good. I'm glad everything went well and hope you get to do it again sometime. Btw, yes, when I was holding I heard them say "TIF" Someone came back and asked how to spell it. Nice job!!! TIS

That was the standard bumper music for the show itself, which normally talks about all movies. That was done off-site in Newark (where the producer who took your calls was), while Joel and I (and local producer Don Timothy, who did the sound bites) were in the studio in Princeton. Amazing how that all works!

Yeah, Joel does all the impersonations - he's pretty good! Wow, he just sent me the photos! I'll post them in a bit...

Geoff, you were wonderful! I missed about the first half because I was out helping in a school event (I didn't even think I'd make it back for any, so I was lucky!), and then (and now), I have my crazy baby cousin over who is tearing up the house, but I was surprisingly able to listen to a good amount. From what I heard, you did absolutely perfect, mixing in good humor with serious discussion, and you definitely made us all proud! SC and DC, I missed your parts! I did, however, come in right when Beth was being introduced, and I got to hear Part and TIS! Beth, good job for showing popcorn lady who's boss. Part, I loved when you asked what The Godfather was...or what it was about...I think it caught Joel by surprise. TIS, you did wonderful, and you were a great representation of the board. All of you guys did great, and it was so fun to hear it! Geoff, it's time to get your own talk show, I think!

I was on hold for at least ten minutes. I heard one lady answer "spaghetti" to the question about what food is in every GF film. That was kind of funny but not as funny as the popcorn lady. I got to hear DC and SC before I made the call. I heard all of Beth's while I was on hold. I knew she would get the "orange" answer for sure. Partagas, as usual you cracked me up with the Lucy Mancini comment. At least nobody said penis. :p I am glad Joel kept giving the website address too. Good advertising. Is he a pretty nice guy Geoff? Can't wait to see the pictures. TIS Gina, you have an idea there with the talk show. "The BB Comes To TV". ha ha

Great pictures Geoff. You all look so happy. Doesn't look like a very big area, but I think most tv broadcast studios are small no??? I hope you're keeping a scrapbook or journal or something of all these exciting GF related things you do. TIS
