Been having internet issues with my PC and I'm about to throw the router or modem out the window! So frustrating! Trying to troubleshoot it with a friend over the phone now, otherwise Comcast is going to come by tomorrow to look at it for a $70 charge.

Thanks Meyer. The motherboards fried so I’ve gotta buy a new computer. Not happy about doling out another couple hundred dollars after I just put a few into my car a few weeks back. But what are you going to do?

I've never been blown away by any of the CANDYMAN's and the same held true last night.

I was mildly entertained by the original. Why they're trying to reboot this franchise is absolutely beyond me. Well, I guess I'm not surprised by anything Jordan Peele does to tell you the truth. He has to be the biggest virtue signaler in Hollywood these days. As a movie, Get Out was very good, but the message he was trying to convey fell flat with me.

GET OUT's been his best work. I think he may suffer like M. Night Shyamalan did for a bit where his best work was early on and the audience continued to expect each new film to be as good as THE SIXTH SENSE. But I wholeheartedly agree with you in terms of the virtue signaling. I'm not surprised this got the reboot though. It's Hollywood. All they want to do is re-establish existing IP's for "a new generaton" and just make reboots/sequels/prequels, etc. Especially within the horror genre, this has been the normal for the better part of almost 2 decades now.

I'm not totally against the reboots. If they can still do decent Halloween movie, I'm fine with that. I feel at this point they should just stop having a death scene for Michael Myers and instead just let him have the final kill. Haha M. Night is a total disaster. I didn't even think The Sixth Sense was that good. There's a few filmmakers I just don't get and he is one of them. Everyone adores Wes Anderson, but I don't get his stuff either. I did enjoy Rushmore, but that was about it.
