Mafia in Palermo, a new repentant at Acquasanta: Giovanni Ferrante collaborates with justice
August 30, 2021

Giovanni Nanni Ferrante , regent of the Acquasanta clan of Palermo, detained at 41 bis, arrested in May last year in a maxi-raid that had led to 91 arrests, including chiefs and wingmen of the Resuttana district, decided to collaborate with justice. But the boss's family have already communicated that they have distanced themselves after the repentance

Before Ferrante, the former boss Gaetano Fontana had decided to collaborate with the magistrates, the main defendant in the trial that emerged from the Mani in pasta investigation, coordinated by the deputy prosecutor Salvatore De Luca and by the substitutes Dario Scaletta and Amelia Luise (today at the Public Prosecutor's European).

Giovanni "Nanni" Ferrante had been described in the pages of the order of the blitz of May last year as the "terror" of the neighborhood traders, forced to pay the protection money through threats and arson attacks.
