Comello has claimed he was trying to perform a citizens arrest because he was big into QAnon and thought Cali was part of the deep state plotting to take down Trump. So yeah, definitely a nutcase.

Definitely a nut case, the ironic thing is he was into conspiracy theories, and now he is part of one. He did it on his own, and is dangerous. If they had locked him up a few weeks earlier when he threatened the New York Mayor (Or was it the security detail in City Hall?) he would not have killed Cali. He may get out in a few years or less, which is scary but possible. He'll kill someone else or try to. He is 100% nuts.
