Allied families:the Philadelphia crime family
The Genovese have historically had an alliance with different admins in Philly most recently revealed in 2016 between capo Pasquale parrello and Joseph Merlino.
I can only assume other links exist currently.

-the relationship however with the other 4 families is a little more cloudy.
Obviously there has been indictments over the years involving the Genovese and all of the other 4 but never one showing a continuous partnership like we can see developing between the gambinos and bonannos.this is one of many reasons why the Genovese continue to be regarded as the #1 crime family in the U.S.

???would the Genovese admin have been the ones to approve the promotion of Domenico violi to UB in Buffalo?or was it a joint decision by all 5 families.
