"Al Capone," basically a B-movie but with an electrifying performance by Rod Steiger in the title role. He was hands-down the best of all the movie Capones and Capone-like characters.


This just aired on TCM a few days ago. Great film because of Steiger, but I had totally forgot that the female lead was played by the late Fay Spain - a very underrated actress whose last film role was as Hyman Roth's wife in GF2 (and you didn't even get to see any close-ups of her face).
