Dda Caltanissetta investigation into the provinces of central-eastern Sicily

(ANSA) - CALTANISSETTA, MAY 30 - A vast operation by the Caltanissetta Guardia di Finanza with the execution of twelve restrictive precautionary measures issued by the Caltanissetta District Anti-Mafia Directorate (Dda) is underway in central-eastern Sicily.
Those arrested must answer, in various ways, for thefts and extortion aggravated by the mafia method.
Over 100 financiers, air and land vehicles, as well as specialized units of the Corps, are involved in the operation, which concerns the provinces of Enna, Catania and Messina. The details of the operation will be announced during the morning.
