It said the lady vomited a couple of times... Hell, I almost vomited just reading about it!! That is SO gross.

I've heard of food being finger lickin' good, but this is ridiculous.

Yeah, one should lick one's own fingers, not a severed one belonging to someone else... Ideally, at least.

On a much lighter note, I wouldn't mind if there were a diamond ring on that finger!! But seriously! Eww...

Does anyone else just not understand how this can happen? I've heard of peices of animals being found in fast food, chicken feet and lizards for example. It is plausible for them to go unnoticed. But we're talking about a human finger. Someone along the supply chain must be fingerless because all digits were accounted for in Wendy's. It doesn't make sense how this didn't get out and the food wasn't recalled to the producers.

Was someone in the production line afraid to say they've lost a finger due to them getting into trouble?

Or was it reported and the company tried covering it up?

Turi, I used to work at a major fast food corporation franchise, and damn, some things I saw just have kept me from eating fast food almost virtually for the last few years.

I mean, you know what is exactly IN those "pure white meat chicken nuggets"? For the squeamish, look away.....................

.......well, count poultry intestines, skin, crunched-up bones, genitalia, hair, beaks, and God knows what else....

I mean, DAMN.

Anyway, as for this finger story....I never cared for Finger Food.

How totally disgusting!! Not only embarrassing for Wendy's but they probably have a pretty huge lawsuit on their hands (minus a finger ). I'd get sick too.

Same here, I was full time at Maccy D's when I was 16 until an injury forced me out of work and back to school. Phew. McDonalds now claim their nuggetts are made differently since the documentary Super Size Me but I doubt it.

Is it even possible someone didn't even notice they've lost a finger. I highly doubt it in this case as it's likely to be a womans finger. A women notices the slightest crack in her nails, she'd go ballistic losing the whole nail.

And just what are you going to say? "This is my ex's finger. Now you are the only one who can have this ring for ever!

I finally think I know how it happened. That must've been the third finger. Someone signalled way too much. So it was cut off!!

my wife works for wendys and has now for 20 years. the finger was in a bag of frozen veggies that they get in to put in chilli. these bags of veggies are so big that there is no way of seeing the finger that was in it!! still very gross lol. she doesnt think its funny. wendys corp is in a big hoop la over it!soory but i hate there food after eating it for 17 years i cant stand it. all thou i do like there salads and fruit bolws lol

Around here no one is going to Wendy's for some reason. It seems to me Wendy's would be less likely to have another finger in their food. Come on, law of averages people.

Gross...that would be the nastiest thing ever! I know a girl who almost ate a McChicken with a tumor in it. She asked for no mayo, but there was still all this white stuff, and when she brought it back to the counter, they said it was a tumor.
