FRANKLIN PARK — Two suburban men were convicted Friday of spiriting a Chicago girl, 14, to a remote Franklin Park industrial area in 1991 and repeatedly raping her.
Cook County Circuit Judge Frank DeBoni found Nicholas Kuhn, now 25, of 1939 S. Harvey Ave., Berwyn, and Kuhn's cousin,
Phillip Rovito, now 23, of 1096 Foxworth Ave., Lombard, guilty of criminal sexual assault after a two-day bench trial in the Maywood courthouse.
Prosecutors said that, on May 30, 1991, the pair drove the girl, whom they had met in Chicago three days earlier, to a remote spot in the 3000 block of Willow Avenue in Franklin Park, threatened her with a baseball bat and took turns raping her.
