Gonna watch (or rather) fast forward through most of the Oscars. I only care about the 6 main categories: Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor, Best Supporting Actress, Best Director, and Best Picture. But since they spread them out over the course of the night, I DVR it and then fast forward until those categories are shown. Pulling for Brandon Fraser and even though I've never seen it, my prediction is EVERYTHING EVERYWHERE ALL AT ONCE is gonna be the big winner. Trailer didn't do anything for me but when it wins Best Director and Best Picture, I guess I'll sit through and watch it.

Wife watching Oscars….she is watching all the people entering now, she agrees with you, I told her your predictions and she sees they are all leaning towards and campaigning right on the premises for that everything whatever movie.

I always liked the Oscar’s for what it was but it has seamed to morph into something else for some other kind of people.

It's a platform for elitist Hollywood millionaires to tell us peasants how horrible we are as a country and how kind and compassionate they are. Nothing but liberal propaganda.

As for last night, very happy Fraser got his well deserved Oscar! Shocked (but happy) Laurie Strode herself did as well as I thought for sure Angela Bassett was going to get it. Looks like I'll have to watch EEAAO now, although going into it, I still don't feel it's a Best Picture. The pool this year felt light to me and I'm a little upset THE WHALE got looked over for more nominations.
