A friend recently gave me a bottle of Pere Magloire, which is the class act of Calvados, a French apple brandy. Oh, is it good! Way better than other Calvados I've had, all of which taste faintly oily.

Man, that sound good. Nothing like a brandy or Cognac for a Winters evening.

I had a few Cuba Libres tonight.

I love to target the hottest dog day of summer and store some of this in the freezer over night, take it out and do shots with it standing in a ice bucket in front of me afternoon and then nap.

I've seen it and had it. It's not bad, very sweet. There's another one called Skatterbrain Peanut Butter Whiskey. Think I may prefer the Skatterbrain to the Screwball honestly. Haven't bought a bottle of either yet though (just tried samples).

We still have a curfew from 9 till 5, so we started with white rum early.

I like fine brandy. For years, my favorite cognac was Hennessy VSOP. But, ageing in the barrel is everything in Cognac (and Armagnac). The way it goes is: VS is two years in barrel, VSOP four years, XO is six years. Lately I've switched to Frapin Cognac VSOP. Their VSOP spends six years in barrel. and the extra age makes a big qualitative difference in their product.

I like that too, I'll take a bottle and place it in the freezer on a real hot day and sit outback sipping till the bottle gets warm.

No more hard liquor for me something happened to me after that corona virus shit, meaning whenever I have a shot of whiskey or tequila, my heart starts bumping like crazy.

So now Im all about beer (almost every type and brand) and Im developing a beer belly like theres no tomorrow Lol. Even with all the training, weight lifting and swimming, its still there and it grows like I have an Alien in me LOl.

Some people told me to drink more water and the stomach will be gone....dont know how true is that or how good it is...because beer + water = me transferring all of my stuff in the toilet because Ill start peeing like an elephant every 5 minutes Lol
