Mafia, maxi-confiscation of 65 million from three entrepreneurs from Gela
Assets and companies worth 65 million euros were confiscated from three entrepreneurs from Gela - Salvatore Luca, Rocco Luca and Francesco Antonio Luca - known in the car trade and real estate sector and believed to be close to the Rinzivillo mafia family. The provision, carried out by the Guardia di Finanza of Caltanissetta, was issued by the Prevention Measures Section on the proposal of the District Anti-Mafia Directorate. The three entrepreneurs are currently accused in a criminal trial for external competition in a mafia association: they allegedly reinvested large capitals, deemed by the court to be of illicit origin, in numerous companies formally owned by their family members and active in the construction and car resale sectors.
