Pietro Aglieri ( Palermo , 6 June 1959 ) is an Italian mafioso , linked to Cosa Nostra and considered one of the most ruthless members of the Corleonese faction .

Biography
As a young man he was nicknamed " U signurinu " due to the luxury and high cost of the clothes he liked to wear, as well as the fact that he was a graduate of classical high school . He studied at a seminary in Monreale and shortly after served in the military as a paratrooper in the Folgore Brigade . He was affiliated with the Santa Maria di Gesù family and, during the second mafia war , he linked himself to the Corleonesi together with his boss Giovanni Bontate .

In 1988 the Corleonesi commissioned Aglieri to eliminate Bontate, who was killed together with his wife, and rewarded him by naming him head of the Santa Maria di Gesù family and also head of the area [1] [2] .
